I love, love, love Moe's vegetarian burrito-Art Vandalay. Sometimes I get cravings for Moe's-seriously. They always give you way more chips that you need and the salsa choices are plentiful and super good. I used their Groupon deal recently and only paid $1.68 for 3 meals. Kudos to Moe's for being on Groupon. Ok, now for the bad.....I love the food so much that it keeps me coming back. But it definitely needs a thorough dining area cleaning! There was nastiness all over the walls (even my teenage son pointed it out). They definitely need a full-time designated dining room cleaner-the floors and tables are often a mess during busy times, makes eating there unappetizing at times. If it were cleaner, I'd probably jump up to "whoo-hoo" status.

JC chicken no beans cook the pico in the dilla. That's what I get and I love it. Creative names are just the tip of the iceberg at this place. The chicken has great flavor and their salsa bar is great, I recommend the "Keiser Salsa." You get a fair amount of chips with every order and the queso is worth it, the prices are on the higher side for 1 meal around $8-$10 instead of a lot places where you can get a full meal with drink for $5-$7. It's staple for us if we are on that side of town which is about once every 2-3 months. I think you get more and better quality food than a Qdoba/TBell/Chipolte.

Not even remotely in the vicinity of authentic Tex-Mex/Southwest. Just bad. Tried it twice just to make sure. No mas.

What a great fast food joint! I go there about 2x a week for lunch, and have yet to be disappointed. Go Moe's!

Think Qdoba but BETTER. Wish there was one closer to where I live but worth the drive. The tacos are great, lots of fresh topping choices. My favorite is the chips and queso though. Even great reheated so I usually get some to go since I don't get out to that end of 28th street as often as I'd like. Favorite fast food restaurant by far.

Far prefer this place to Quedoba or Chipotle. The food is fresher, the staff is friendlier, and the atmosphere I enjoy more. It doesnt pretend to be a mexican joint like Quedoba does. It knows its tex-mex and doesnt suffer any delusions about itself. The music they play is good. The Queso is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

Welcome to Moe's! I love everything here. I've had all the protein choices and all types of entrees. Everything is good. Especially the queso. My personal favorite is the rice bowls. I also love that they have Pibb Xtra in the pop machine. Our whole family is happy when we go there.

Very similar to The Q; the rice isn't as good, but u get chips and salsa free with ur order!

Ate at Moe's last week for the first time in a while. The food was good and I was glad to see they offer smaller sized burritos at lunch. We had a small group and they did a good job getting us through the line and getting our orders right. Now for the bad news. The place was filthy. Had it been busy I could have overlooked the dirty floor and even the dirty tables. But, if you look up at the spot lights and the track lights they are gross! Full of dust and grime, they look like they have never been cleaned. This is unacceptable. I may go in again but if it looks the same, I wont stay. Food is 4 stars, way better than taco bell. But the cleanliness is below average.

Good place staff was very kind. Also a clean environment most meals are around $8 so a little pricey for grand rapids and a fast food type store. But over all it was a good time.

I always seem to get the same thing, regardless of what Mexican restaurant I go to, high end or low (that thing in question is a chicken fajita burrito). After all, I'm a creature of habit and I know what I like. Additionally, I don't like to be disappointed, and I almost always am whenever I try a new dish. I'm sure this is of great psychological importance and is very telling about the inner workings of my mind, but you can come back to that later. I have to tell you about Moe's. The fajita burritos here are almost always good, and the service is well, I guess they try. Compared to the Q these taste a bit better to me! I don't like to think of it as fast food, even though it clearly is. I prefer to refer to it as edible stuff that is prepared in a quick and efficient manner. Semantics people... And in the case of my beloved fajita burritos, tasty seasoning and a tortilla full of fajita goodness. Nuff said.

5 stars, Moes! Today in the middle of lunch you had two women who came in with multiple orders, likely taken from the entire office. These women mixed up all the orders, paid seperatly using individual envoples, and needed everything bagged seperatly. Why they didn't do a call ahead order is beyond me, but it was annoying for all in line. Instead of yelling at them like I felt like doing because I was "hangry", you were patient, kind, and understanding. That's amazing service!

What we have here is another version of subway style mexican food. Similar to Qdoba and chipote but with a bit larger menu. The food was good and the options for stuff to put on your food is excellent. The queso dip was only ok I probably will not order it again. They definitely won me over with what I call a salsa bar, they have a self serve bar with a good variety of salsa. Where they lost me is whenever someone comes into the restaurant the staff has to yell "welcome to moe's" which pretty much made me want to eat my food as fast as humanly possible so that I could leave. Definitely would avoid dinning in.

Used to go here a ton before but ever since Qdoba came along I've only been here once. The food here is good and used to be quite pricey but I think they changed the prices and I'd say their quite fair. I love the fact that you get chips for free as a side and its unlimited. Also enjoy the variety of salsa you can choose. Definitely recommend this place, will visit soon.

The country is littered with Moe's. Why go to this one on the main drag in Grand Rapids among hundreds of other restaurants? After coming once I'm not sure why I'd return. The chicken was bland and nothing here packs a flavor that makes you crave a return. I used to be a huge Moe's fan, but as competitors have risen, Moe's continues to be left in the dust with average to below average food. On a side positive note, you can grab food for cheap here, so if you're in a mood for a quick burrito this might be the place for you.

I stopped here because I saw them on "Undercover Boss" a while ago, and thought it looked like a cool place to eat. However, I should have known by how empty it was that it was not going to be good at all. The required "Welcome to Moe's" greeting should have been my second red flag, because it came with the energy of road kill... which leads me to the food. There was definitely nothing fresh about my order. I ordered a taco salad, and when I sat down at a table I had to clean off and started to eat, my food was nothing but mush. The ingredients were all so soggy that everything just kind of blended together in an inedible mush in a stale bowl. I forced my way through about half of it and then had to throw it out... it was just terrible. There are plenty of other establishments along 28th Street, so I highly recommend you try them instead!!

I really enjoy Moe's food and I've been eating at several different ones for years. This Moe's for some reason seems to be really inconsistent with quality and portions... Definitely hit or miss

I've gotten burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, and overall the place is OK. Which isn't bad. It fills a niche, but for me, I prefer chipotle for my Americanized fast style Mexican. The service is generally friendly, and especially so on my last visit. My wife likes this place better then I do and would rate it a 4.

All organic and hormone free meat which made me very happy to see. I have had a pulled pork taco, a steak taco, and the nachos with pulled pork the 2nd time I went I got the pulled pork again because it was so good, the steak was tasty but had some fatty bits. They have good queso, I have to say I prefer Qudoba's as it is spicier. But they also have a great salsa bar that comes free with the free chips they give you with your meal lets you check out all the options you may find something new you like as all the salsas were good and tasted very fresh.

5 stars for serving me on Labor Day and working hard. Kids loved their meals. Staff were friendly and quick. Not my first choice but I really appreciate them sacrificing their holiday with a smile. Happy kids and a friendly staff is what it's all about today.

I wish I could rate this place negative stars. I'd give them a negative three. Staff was awful & rude, plus they burnt my food. I'll stick w/Qdoba. Moe's stunk.

Soooo much better than Qdoba and Chipolte. Ingredients are fresh, chips are made in house and delicious, their salsas are awesome (I especially love the verde). We love to go there for lunch (usually get it to go) and I can honestly say I don't think we have ever had a bad food experience. Though I typically order the vegetarian Art Vandalay, I have had the pork, chicken, and steak- and all are super tasty. We love Moes.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
